Facilitating positive changes in young people’s lives
Our ethos encompasses Recognition, Responsibility and Reflection. We offer a stimulating personalised curriculum alongside a bespoke package of interventions for the holistic development of the young person. We aim to develop learners’ educational and personal potentials whilst supporting their reintegration and inclusion into full time education.
Students at both academies within Black Country Alternative Provision (BCAP) are given the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of vocational and practical subjects that give them opportunities to progress personally, socially and academically. The curriculum is, however underpinned by high-quality teaching of traditional academic subjects and all lessons are taught in small classes. Both academies also enjoy access to BCAP’s impressive Sports Centre and Skills Centre.
BCAP’s vision is not only to become a beacon of excellence for Wolverhampton and The Black Country but to become a jewel in the crown of the Alternative Provision landscape across England. All of our staff aspire to provide world-changing education and to live up to this standard in everything that we do.
