The Youth Engagement Schools Trust (YES Trust) will comply with the demands of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The Trust regards the security of personal data as one of our most important responsibilities, and will constantly review and improve processes and procedures.

The Trust have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who will operate independently to:
- inform and advise the Trust and its employees about their obligations to comply with the GDPR and other data protection laws and requirements
- monitor compliance with the GDPR and other laws, including managing internal data protection activities, advising on Data Protection Impact Assessments, conducting internal audits, and providing the required training to staff members
- oversee data protection
