Black Country Alternative Provision launched in December 2024 and is Youth Engagement Schools Trust (YES Trust) newest establishment. The site is located in Wolverhampton and is comprised of two academies, The Kairos Academy (KS3-KS4 Alternative Provision) and The Vireo Academy (KS2-KS4 SEMH Alternative Provision and Home & Hospital School).
Students at both academies within Black Country Alternative Provision (BCAP) are given the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of vocational and practical subjects that give them opportunities to progress personally, socially and academically. The curriculum is underpinned by high-quality teaching of traditional academic subjects and all lessons are taught in small classes. Both academies also enjoy access to BCAP’s impressive Sports Centre, Gym, Skills Centre and outdoor facilities.
BCAP’s vision is not only to become a beacon of excellence for Wolverhampton and The Black Country but to become a jewel in the crown of the Alternative Provision landscape across England. All of our staff aspire to provide world-changing education and to live up to this standard in everything that we do.
